Default One Dim Headlight, Any Ideas?

My HID quit working on the drivers side so I thought the ballast went bad, I changed it out and it still wouldnt work so I disconnected them and put in my regular headlight bulbs. The passenger side works fine, High and Low beam without issue but both bulbs are on on the drivers side and very dim. I switched the headlights around and tried both bulbs in both sides with the same result. The main ground on the core support is clean and the blinker bulb got dimmer when I disconnected it so I think thats working fine. I looked at most of the wire harness for any obvious signs of damage but found nothing. If anyone has any Ideas I am open to some suggestions.

Bypass the ground straight to the battery and see if it gets brighter. If it doesn't, run a hot wire straight to the battery. Either way you'll find which side of the circuit has the problem and you can go from there.

Thanks aussie. I'll give that stuff A try if it warms up today. Hopefully I can chase down the issue so I dont have to take it to the auto electric shop. There is a really good one in my area but they are super expensive.
