Default Old Monte Carlo

I remember driving in my brothers yellowish colored Monte Carlo when I was a kid. I found it amusing that my brother owned a car that shared his name....his name is Monty! Boy have these cars come a long way!

My brother is 11 years older than me so it was years later I got my first car...a hand me down from him. Kind of embarrassing but it was a Chevy Vega...yea yea dont laugh...later I made it worse by dropping a 350 in it, turbo 350 tranny and a 67 chevelle rear end! Then it was a fun car! lol

There is nothing wrong with a Vega, after a mod of that nature.

A neighbor of mine put a blown 427 hemi in one without doing too much to the frame of the car, needless to say it was only good for one run down the track. Twisted the hell out of the entire car.

It was a fun little experiment anyway.

I did not have that kind of torque but it was very quick. But after 80 mph the front end started floating...imagine that!
