ok now i know i sound like an idiot.. but
it was suggested i maybe just add a down pipe to my mufflers for better sound however the term downpipe is not working. what is the technical name for it and what should i expect to spend. ty again guys,joe

Im not really sure if there is a technical term haha. Now im sounding like an idiot . But its the pipe between the cat and the exhaust manifolds. Idk how much itll cost. The down pipes for the 3800s are anywhere between 200-300. Im not sure if there is a down pipe for the 5.3. Maybe someone else would know

Also, you wouldn't ADD a downpipe to your mufflers.. It replaces your stock one. I'd recommend the stainless

I saw a video on youtube of a 5.3 Monte and in the description it said he had a hogan downpipe...
