Actually no. Frame is different. The front grill resembles the Impala. But not much else. The rest of the 06/07 Monte looks more like an updated version of the 2000 Monte.

Only thing thats the same is the headlights & hood, im not sure if the grille is or not & the fog lights are the same i believe aswell

Upper grill is the same. Lower grill on the 06/07 Monte is smaller than the Impala.

If you look at MillerMonteSS's front end, you'll see what I mean. He put an Impala front bumper assembly on his Monte.
