Well, I think I have screwed up royally. I did not know what a huge rust problem these cars can have. I should have bit the bullet and bought one in better condition. Now I am told that i need two front fenders due to rust, and the rear quarters are pretty much going to be a huge issue. I was told that if you can see it on the edge of the fender, there is 90% more behind it. I bought some rust solvent at Lowes and treated it was well as I could, then put primer over it until I am ready to paint. I am at the crossroads. Do I bail out now and lose money, or keep throwing money at this knowing the body is never going to be right? I need struts and brakes, and probably some more suspension pieces. The sad part is I have it running great now, and just passed emissions and got my title, after 4 months of grief. I really like this car. Here is a close up of the front fender problem.

Recently purchased ‘03 MC Pace Car Replica
I recently purchased my 2003 MC , it had only 149 original miles on it! I have all the original info including the COA and factory invoice.
It looks fantastic and I am getting a Ceramic coating applied on it next week, that should really make it shine!

Sure hope you can keep that in a garage. I was browsing Facebook the other day and saw an O3 up in Indy that had 122K miles. All it had was the black and white flags down the side. It was very clean. The guy had dropped the price to $2500. Made me sick. There are some steals out there right now. You have a beauty.

Blue and donor
Better pic of mine and hit the wheels just messing around with the rust eliminator. Actually helped them too. I have also found a donor car, but it's almost too nice to use up.
Looking a little better, but still needs a new paint job.
And the donor car.

And just got it back from the dealer. Had new brakes, drilled and slotted rotors, reman calipers, fluid flush and got rid of those stick on things. Also put the new rims and Toyo tires on.
