What is the OEM sparkplug for the 2002 3.8L NA? I have looked everywhere and can't find it. What is the gap also please?

What does everyone else like in their 2002?

 

Use AC Delco replacements. Where did you search? There should be parts for them literally everywhere.

AC/Delo Iridium or NGK Plugs Gapped at 60 degrees!!!!! The word on the MCF Forum is Do Not Use Bosh! The don't work well in these cars!!!!!

 

I couldn't find anything that actually said it was the OEM plug part number. That is what I was trying to find. Tons of other plugs available, thanks for the info.

AC Delco Iridium Part # 41-101 gap 60 good for 100000 miles get them at OReilys. I think $7.00 each.

 

Iridiums were what came with these cars new.
On the 3400's (which the modern ones I believe also used iridiums), I have switched to NGK Platinum plugs (after shipping, I can normally get them for about $3 a plug from RockAuto). They have worked fantastic in all 3400 cars I've put them into. I have yet to put them into a 3800, but I would expect the same results.
FYI - AC Delco for a while now has been re-branding NGK plugs. I have a set of factory plugs I pulled out of a car in my garage that have branding from both NGK (engraved/stamped into the metal) and AC Delco (ink stamped on the ceramic).

 

I'm a huge fan of using RockAuto to get the part numbers and such.

They always have a section where you can find in parenthesis what was OEM and they list the gap.
