went to the jy today and pick up hood latch cable, hatch door window wiper arm, and wiper motor. even tho the po said the motor is good but to be 100 i pick it up anyway.just as i was walking out saw a heated leather seats off a '98. not my favorite color tho (camel tan) eeww yucky!! but it's in good shape no ripped just dirty. im going to try to get it cuz if i decide to sell the jeep in the future it worth some value. the jeep was smashed on both passenger sides. going to have to figure out how to get the passenger side out.

 

got more parts from the jy. the header panel have 2 small cracked so i decide to replace it anyway. i got lucky and found this matching color header panel. in the mean time, have 3 people interest for '92. one coming friday from northwest indiana, another from southern illinois, and one local. hope i sell it this week so i can get rough country lift kit plus i want to start driving it.

 

Looks like you had to go trips to the junk yard. Good luck with the sale, hope one of them buys it.

 

i have serious buyer just waiting to hear back from the the first buyer. who ever offer me little more than the other one will own the jeep this week im praying.

didn't have nothing to do today so i hit the jy again and look what i found. almost brand new alternator for my jeep. it's orielly's brand ($105 new) for $30 i have to get it cuz if water get in while off roading and fried it i have a spare. had it tested at orielly's and it's good. who ever own the xj must just replace it cuz it's almost new. also got a coil this thing is newly just as new. i got it for free. have lots of deep pockets in my jacket

 

also pick up this '96 grand pee hood vents. im not decide yet if i want to use this vents on the jeep yet. under hood on a jeep is hot by installing vents will help vent out under hood heat.



also got this 3rd gen trans am vents

 

Always wear clothes with lots of pockets to the junk yard, that's what i do as well.

got a text message from the guy that bought my '01 last year sent me this pic. he said he got T boned last friday. a ford escape blew a red light and hitted the xj right on the pass front side. the escape was total damages to the xj: front axle bent, drag link broked, lower control arm ripped off, cracked rim, fender, header panel, and broken front drive shaft. wow that's pretty sad!!! he's planning to fix it back up after.
