i did got chance to install the driver's side front bumper end cap. it's going need repaint. found a link on the internet that sell the original paint. mine is a rare color. it's purple blue (burple as called by jeep guys) my buddy called it the Barney's mobile. jeep got some character now looks so much better with the end cap on looks like jeep now.

 

pick up three bfg (two are all-terrains, and one bfg trails) and some generic brand (stampede) 33" tires for $175 at tire shop today. i originally was going to start collecting parts for my lift. for $175 that's good deal for all 4 tires and 3 of the bfg have decent treads on. the shop originally asking $50 each tires. i tried to low ball the dude as low as i can but he only drop $25 off the original price of $200. called up my buddy that i don't want them tires. he said his buddy needs some tires and if i buy it he'll paid me $250. his buddy coming tomorrow to pick up the tires. just helping out another jeeper wasn't planning to make money off him but if he wants to pay me $250 for the tires that work for me

 

 

I think adding the camo to those parts actually did make it look better. Nice making some profit on those tires.

my buddy show me a link for the jeep comanche and i'm really start liking them a lot. thinking about selling my xj and get me a comanche. going to be hard to find one. they out there but not abundant as the xj.

I have seen a few of those around here but not many. Those things are pretty sweet looking. If you get that then you could have a jeep and a truck. They would look badass lifted too.

 

Nice work knocking out the rust situation, fair amount of work there, looks pretty good. You the man at everything. Your camo interior mods are way over the top, very nice appearance upgrade.

What with all you have recently done, sell the XJ for a pick up? Where will you ever put all your cool keep secure stuff, fishing poles, winchester...

At least you can haul the party around in the truck bed, girls, beer kegs and firewood. Best of luck on which ever direction you take, after seeing what your capable of, it's going to be pretty tricked out for sure.

 

wasn't bad job on the rust panel. i used fiberglass resin jelly. lot of sanding, since the rust was on the bottom rocker panel i spray bedliner and black paint on the other side of the panel. doesn't look bad with black paint. im thinking of painting below the door trim black too think that would look good.

it's not going to happen right away getting the comanche. if it's under my budget and need little fixing that probably ok to buy. if floor boards or rocker panels rusted through like my old '92 i probably stay away from it. i don't care even if it was at my budget. i don't want to deal with rust any more lol.

today was good day. sold the factory xj cloth seats for $100 to the same guy who bought the limited 16" wheels/tires. free up some garage space which is a good thing. now im just hoping i can get rid of the wj seats. i can't find the receipt from the jy i got the seats from cuz i like to take them back and get refund/credit.

 

my buddy bought a 10' jon boat from south suburb of chicago today. going to do some fishing maybe this weekend. he asked me to come along, well actually he wants me to drive his jeep cuz he lost his license due to 4 DUI. figured he learn his lesson on first DUI some people's kid i guess. well the good thing is he didn't hurt or killed anybody. yeah he was locked up and served his time, but man i wouldn't want to be in his shoes tho cuz he just got his jeep lifted last month and can't enjoy it. he's trying to get a working permit, in the mean time he let me drive it if we going places. i don't mind that's what friend are for.





can't believe he paid $200 for this bozo the clown shoes lol. they were super bright red color was making fun of it. my nike only cost $69.99 and i thought that was expensive lol.
