why do you think that, good lord the goverment now is slowly taking out the word"choice" out of the freedom of. i am medically exempt from the seat beat law, but if i wasn't i wouldn't wear one,
and that should be my choice not the goverment's, in ky.it only a secaondary law, they have to pull you over for something else, before they can ticket you for not wearing a seatbelt, even then
it's only a $25.00 fine, and nothing goes on your driving record you know like a parking ticket,
heck 1/4 of the cops in this state don't wear them.now you want to hear something really dumb?
a few years ago ky past a "no motorcycle helmet law" now this id just me but i'd much rather
be driving 60 mph on four wheels w/o a seatbelt, then on 2 wheels w/o a helmet. i have spoken
my opion on this matter and i will not be responding to any post on this matter.

I hear what you're saying, and you do make some points. However, you seem to think that driving is your right. It's not, it's a privelidge. That being said, there is no "intrusion" of government.

true story, same in California. My buddy got a DUI while riding his bicycle. Some laws just make you wonder.

I hardly ever wear my seatbelt and I have never been pulled over or ticketed for not wearing it. It's a matter of choice. If you get pulled over and get a ticket you have made that choice and have to life with it..

I think of laws as guidlines, they are there but people break them every day.

I was involved in a head on collision 6 months ago, if it were not for the seat belts, my children and I would be dead. I <3 seatbelts

Oh, I forgot to mention this collision took place on a 2 lane highway at roughly 60-65mph! Me, Honda Accord, him, Dodge Ram pickup
