Default New Weather Stripping Help

I got a 2004 LS monte carlo and it leak water into the drivers side door when ever it rains rly heavy so we think its the weather stripping we call the chevey dealer and they said ti would be around 130-150$ for both door/ body weather stripping is this tru or can i find it cheaper.

check ebay or a parts site. dealers like to inflate prices.

Looks like you might be able to get a nice thing of clear silicone too and repair it?

This is prob y it leaks water in car during heavy rain storms right guys?

On the driver's side, standing water could come from a few places, but most likely it's because of that weather stripping on the top of the door

I had the same issue too, but I have a tiny tear in it. I just went to my friend who owns an Auto Body shop and he just tried to bend the door and water hasnt gotten in since.

Be prepared to pay some cash. I priced out a new sunroof gasket and it was going to be like $140! I recomend getting the parts numbers for the peices that you need from the Chevy dealer and then searching online. Parts numbers make hunting so much easier.

My driver's door looks just like your 2nd picture & leaks like crazy when it rains. Do you have a part name or #?
