New Tires and Pics
Very nice Matt. I'd be too afraid to put summer tires on my DD because I run the stock rims until the last minute to save my winter tires. If I ever need new tires for my 03 Monte I'm probably going to stick with the Goodyear RSAs because I want to keep it as stock as possible (if they still make them). I'm still running my original tires on my 03 LOL!!!!
Very nice Matt. Like the headlights too.
I was never a fan of the stock RS-A's. They lost traction WAY too easily. I would spin the tires when starting from a red light, even with moderate pressure on the gas pedal. In rain, forget it. I had little to no traction with the RS-A's. I noticed that on my Grand Am GT also. So it's not just something I got on my Monte.
I just replaced my Toyo Versado's last week. The Toyo Versado was a great all season tire. Nice and quiet and a comfortable ride. I replaced them with Goodrich G-Force KDW performance tires. They're summer only, and stick like glue. But I have to admit, they are loud. Almost as loud as a snow tire.
The Pilot's you have on your SS look good, Matt. A local tire shop told me that Michelin bought out Goodrich. They use the Michelin name for their more premium tires.

I will have to agree on the RS-A tire its junk, got em on both the 300 and Monte, 300 has zero traction at any time I have to be careful, but there not to bad on the Monte kinda gotta keep em, I don't see how they could be so crappy for the money they cost
Thanks guys! Saw some more drive time today.
Honestly the only tire I ever ran on my 03 was the Goodyear Eagle RS-A and I never really had any issues with them. The 06 had a set of Pirelli P Zero Neros prior to these new Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
