does anyone know how to get to the grille. do you just pop out the cover above it. seems like everything else on this car is easy to get to.

i found a place that sells the ss grille for 40 bucks. i kind of wanted to paint it candy red. either the grille or both bowties. i dont want to go ALL BLACK.

besides the dang 6x9's

I definitely wouldn't paint the actual grill. A candy red bow tie might be nice though.

The bottom grille is simple but a bit tedious. Just grab a butter knife or something durable that won't chip the paint or the grille and push it back. It actually locks by being pressed forward, which is why you need to push it back. You can see the little plastic teeth which lock it into place. You just need to pry those away from the grille. Once it's loose and unlocked all the way around, you can squeeze the grille together and pull it out through the bumper opening. It's a really durable, flexible plastic, so you're not about to do damage to it.

The quickest way would of course be to take your bumper off but I wasn't about to bother doing that.

Hopefully that isn't too confusing, the instructions are a bit jumbled.
