I think you should have turned-on the flash.
Or, are we supposed to be admiring the tail lights? : )

I believe he's demonstrating how bright the lights shine through the tinting on his taillights.

Looks pretty good at night. I'd be more worried about what they look like in daylight.
I'd hate to have somebody rear-end me, claiming they couldn't see my brake lights because of the tinting. Even if it wasn't true. You know some people will lie through their teeth to lay blame on someone other than themselves.

As a little comparison, here's a pic of the taillights stock. By the way, I don't have the brakes applied in this pic.

In Massachusetts, particularly around Lowell and Lawrence, MA ... some low-life creep, driving something on its last legs, would deliberately rear-end you claiming he didn't see the Brake Lights and sue you for a zillion dollars, just to be a as**ole about it.

This is the State that when a MBTA Bus gets into an accident, there are more people on the bus, waiting for ambulances, than there were on the bus BEFORE the Bus got broadsided by some SUV Driving, cellphone talking, GPS Directions getting, in-a-hurry, late-for-a-meeting guy, who ran the light on purpose, thinking he'd beat the Bus through the intersection and make-time.

They had cellphone video of some guy crawling under the Bus, one time, on the 6 O'Clock News.
I wonder about some people; sometimes!

If I ever get a set and I get rear ended I'll see if I couldn't challenge their claim. Take the judge out and show him that not only can you see through the tint, but that you also have the third brake light lighting up.

Your right taz. I was just showing what they look like at night, that's why I didn't turn on the flash. During a sunnyday there not that bright but fairly close to it. Plus I thought it turned out to be a pretty good pic

Been there!!!!

Like the woman who hit me head on. The sun was shining at the time and I was in a bright red car. She told the cop she didn't see it. She also said I hit her.

H--L YES I HIT HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hit her cause she drove her car in to my lane going the opposite direction then I was.

And the sun was definately shining when the one-armed bandit (I mean grandmother) rear ended me. I'm surprised she didn't tell the cops the sun was in her eyes and she couldn't see me. She probably didn't think of it???
