I hope you bought an extra set of head gaskets and parts to fix the block halves. Those are baby Northstars and have twice the problems. How do I know? We used to be an Olds dealership, and still sell Cadillac.

That's funny, there seems to be plenty of aurora owners who say the 01-03 models are better in every way possible compared to the older models. Haven't even heard of block halves going bad until you just came up with it. Everything on this car works fine.

Hi Brenden,
It's great to read that everything works fine How about the driver

It seems that every vehicle can have problems, but what I've learned is a ride that is treated with love will last longer then a ride that is abuse.....Abuse your ride & it sure will abuse you back 4-Sure...

What's more important is that you like/love your new ride & that's what really matters...EnJoy your new to you Olds

Not syaing yours will break. Just stating what I see day to day. I'm not the average Joe Monte Carlo Owner. I am a tech at a GM dealership with every GM/Chrysler franchise.

Oh, okay. I guess you guys don't ever suggest heal-a-seal for the northstar engines to your customers?

It's one of those miracle things that you pour into your radiator to fix a head gasket - while instead it just clogs up your radiator & water pump and overheats the engine

The only way to fix a blown head gasket set is to replace it with new one. End of story l, now lay off of him he got a new car, it's in good shape for the miles and he's happy with it that's all that matters now

I like the wheels.

The best of the three.
