i have a 03 and belive me i wished i had waited the 15 days to have the S/C so i dont have to add one now LOL

04 and 05 came with the supercharged 3.8's but not all ss's were supercharged all the nascar editions were but it should be fairly easy to find a supercharged one

nope even if you dont get the S/C then you will still be happy with the SS.
even if it is a 3800 with or with out the S/C they still have some punch to them. Not going to say they are neck snapping but they defently have something there.

The Nascar version Montes with the flag graphics are different.
At least from some of the other SS Montes I've seen. We stopped to look at a yellow Monte last night on a used car lot. Window sticker read it's an '04 and I noticed it has the lay down (surf board) spoiler on the back. Not the stand up spoiler.

the supercharged monte can be made into "necksnapping" fast...too me it was fast when i first got it...and i haven't had any problems smoking any 4.6 or 5.0 mustangs...or even a lot of v8 chev's

RE: a new monte maybe ?
anything can be neck snapping if you have enough cash to throw at it LOL
but i agree the S/C/ are nice motors and dont have to many issues keepign up with most things on the road.
If i had the choice between one or the other i would have picked the one with. But with out is good to .
so i guess what im saying in the short of it all is I dont miss what i dont have

If you're wanting to build good power you need to go with a S/C 3800. Believe me they can be very fast. On my 98 GTP I had u-bend delete, Borla cat back exhaust, 3.4 S/C pulley, CAI, and some other mods and was pushing close to 300 hp at the crank & with no driveability problems either.
