Beautiful graduation gift!! My Monte was basically a welcome to college gift hahaha. And yeah, go with the 350. It basically has the widest range of aftermarket parts with tons of potential. Nice monte and cant wait to see the finished product

welcome to the forum. dont bother with a 305. a 327 and up gen 1 small block would be the way to go. personally id go with a 383 or a 400 just for the torque the 4th gens are a bit heavy, and youre going to need it to get out of the hole. a lsx motor would make more power and be more efficient, but would be a little more pricey to build. good look with it. post more pics and ditch the **** SSs on the side.

yeah im gonna go 350 and ill take some picstures soon
