Keep looking I'm sure you'll find a sweet deal on a sweet SS. That monte you were looking at before just had a few things done to it, I dont know why they would call it a TS package though.

The main thing is to do a lil research before, and dont forget the Carfax. This should be free from the dealer.

Welcome to the web site.

I for one have never heard of a TS Monte? Unless TS = Top Speed? (which I doubt)

An LS isn't bad. But if you really want an SS, hang out for what you REALLY want.

Good advice here.

My girlfriend needed a car last year and I happened to mention on here we were looking for a Monte Carlo for her. Space was very kind he did my research for me and located a few Montes that my father & I went over a few days.

One was a somewhat nice '03 Monte Carlo SS Pace car replica a Pontiac dealer had. They took the car in as a trade from the original owners. The bank told us the car was a real good deal as book value on the car at the time was $12,200. We got it for $10,900.

I clay barred the paint on the car then waxed and the car now has a superior shine to it. Close to a new car's shine.

If you decide to buy the LS please consider joining our web site and becoming a member.

Thanks guys.
I get a real good vibe from all of you. Kind of like a close knit friend's bond. ^.^
After reading and reconsidering i've found an SS.
Unfortunately it's in NY; and I live in Maryland.
That doesn't matter I would go there if this is a good deal.
What DO YOU GUYS think????

It's cheaper than the LS and well it's a 200hp sweet looking SS.
What do you guys think?
Oh I laughed at RJ's post of "top speed" LS. Going to bed, back back on tomorrow after work.

Looks like a pretty good deal. I like that it has leather and is in such nice condition. I was browsing and found another car too. A little more expensive but it has fewer miles. No leather tho.

if the one in New York looks like "the one", i'd say go check it out if you have time! after all if you decided to buy it, it'll be a lot of fun to drive it home! i almost went to ohio to buy my car until i found it at a dealership in massachusetts.

I tried to talk my girlfriend in to a 2000 SS with 62,000 miles on it for $8500.

She couldn't get past the bright red paint with tan interior combination.

I'm certain we could have gotten the car for less and the seller installed 2 new rotors up front.

If you like the New York SS enough by all means go look at it. It could be worth your while.

My girlfriend was telling me on sunday a local Chevy dealer has an '01 SS for $5,000. She said the pics of it looked pretty nice.
