Default New fog lights

Well I bought a set of Hella Optilux 1500 fog lights off of ebay. I went and put them on today. It took all of 4 hours to mount them and run the wiring. They look pretty cool sitting down in the bottomopening of the bumper cover.Ill get pictures later tonight once I adjust them. They are insanely bright, I could see them on the road driving back from the garage in the daylight, I cant wait to see them at night.

It wasnt hard to mount them at all. The way the 5th gen montes are set up, the opening in the bumper cover is right below the metal bumper itself. I just held the brackets in place where I wanted them and marked it, I remove the bumper cover and drilled the holes and installed the brackets, and put the bumper cover back on. So the lights are mounted to the bumper, but hang down and sit in the opening in the bumper cover.

Space, they are 55w bulbs with clear glass housings. None of the fake HID blue tint crap. They really look nice. Ill get a shot once the sun goes down in about an hour.

Well it was just dark enough outside to get a good shot of the lights so here they are. Sorry the pics are so big. Space it might take a while to load for you.

Here they are off

Here they are on

Here is what you would see going down the road.

I cant wait to drive at night to see what they look like from inside. Should light up the dark pretty good.

They were 19.99 plus 9 bucks shipping. Thats for the lights and brackets, pre wired harness, relay and switch plus all the hardware. You really cant beat it since the same thing is $51 plus shipping from JC whitney.

Looks Sweet!!! I love the position and balance with the headlights.

By the way I saw the woods behind your house and got jealous. I so need to get out in the country.
