Hey RJ is your Monte an LTZ as well?

Yes.

Just an FYI to everyone that Carmax has a 2006 LTZ in grey with under 1K miles for under 20K for sale. It's in Ohio at the Carmax store there.

Sure would be nice to have.

It is the beautiful grey that I wanted when I got mine. Plus it has leather but no moonroof. I don't really miss hot leather though.

LOL that stuff still gets hot sitting in the sun all day. I've had other cars with leather....the only good thing is the look & the smell.

The other day when I took my '06 to the dealer (you know, so they could tell me to bring it back the next day) I let it set out for a couple hours.

We've been getting mid to upper 90s temps this week. Man that thing sure was hot. Not just the inside but outside, too.

I don't think the seats were any hotter then most cars that set out in temps like that.

No but cloth definately doesn't get hot and make your back sweat and burn your legs when you have shorts on.

You should see my g/f when she gets in my 150 Handyman Wagon on hot, sunny days.

The black vinyl bucket seats make her do a little "Hot Seat" dance. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
