hey is there any one willing to look for a few parts for a monte when they have a chance?

trying to find a set of the out side door handels for a 03 prefer in white.

also trying to find a extra set of 03 tail lights i dont care what condition on these i want them as a test mule for a idea i have but need a set to tear in to so im not doing it to mine in the car.

if any oen would be willing to ge tthem from a local bone yard please let me know. and what you would want tto ge tthem for me and

I know I am shopping around for a set of tails too. I have a cracked one now From what I have gathered ya can't get a decent one for under 100 bones. So now I am stalling to see if I can get a deal on aftermarket ones. If I do I will send ya my old.

 

Yeah..I'll go look for you, man. the Impala and Alero also share the same handles, in case anyone else is looking.

kool thanks on the tails it would work for what im doing . i dont even need a lens on it.
trying to make a set of custom tails my self . they will be LED when im done and will flash with ethier the yellow or the red lights for the T-signals.

just debating weather or not to do it the easy way of just making some LED t-signals out of a Bigtruck fit in there or to build a bread bord and make it the right size to fit in the tail lights. then have the t-signals pinwheel in the right direction for to show the turn and also flash.

dont know havent gotten that completly figured otu yet.

Actually looking for somethign on the pass side of the car. trying to find away to get rid of the door lock on the car completly.

I have heard the imp. dont have them at all. if this is the case it would be all i need but would need two in white.

have a guy here that has a monte. that some fool tryied to break in to it and tore his locks all up so if ya see more then one with out the locks let me know i will take them .

but that is the idea . i belive the pass side shoudl work for the monte carlo just have to get the rods to hook up to the other side of the handel for it to work. so i need one i can figure it out instead of having a hole in my door till i cna get it right.

No, that's not accurate. As the Impala has four doors, the rear doors have no keyhole, but the front doors do. Even the new redesign still has the keyhole in the handle.

You could always shave the door handles. That would eliminate the problem and be a cool custom feature.

I will still have a look, though. You want to try for the rear door handles of an Impala then?

 

if they look like they are the same size as the front then it might work. If they are way off then no just do the front ones.

What the thought is if all else fails i will take the ones you send to me and remove the lock from them and fill it in so they are not there at all.

But i am hopeing i can get a pass side to work with some small moding , Looking at mine again to day it dont look hard to do at all.

If you can find them with the one rod on it but it is not something that has to be there. It just would be a nice thing to have. But i can work around it with out it also.

I really want to say thank you for this . I just wish i could find away to get a bone yard here to get some cars other then German spec in them LOL
