Yea, 400 isn't too bad. You get what you pay for though Iraggi is good stuff
Yeah, I've heard lots of good things about the Iraggi products, same with Ohio Generator

Are you gonna do the install or have a mechanic do it? If you do it yourself, think you could do a write up on it cause I like to do as much on my car as possible so if it's not too terribly difficult and as long as I have the tools needed I think I'd like to do this myself.

Yea I'll do it myself. Dropping in an alternator takes all of 10 minutes at most I'd be glad to help out

Sick! I'm mechanically inclined and I hate paying mechanics horribly inflated costs to do something I could do myself with a little patience and enough time.

earlier about the caps, batteries and alternaters did you know that everycar performs differnt with the same stereo setup even identical cars with the same system. my old car a 95 pontiac grand am, I had over 1000rms for subs andnever had a problem with dimmin headlights just a pinch when i used my brakes and i had the car for 2 years and never replaced the batt over those 2 years same batt as when i bought the car, i could run the system at max for like 30 min and never killed batt and started fine after that but now in the monte its completly differnt. lights want to dim allover even in the day when the day lights are on ect...

i dont think caps are the best thing to do as i am going to hook up a tsunami one, but as for space and cost it a decent route. but it alows when the sub needs to hit the power is there and doesnt distort or loose power to the sub.

jaws, its all what the car is using elsewhere for power. Your old car im sure didnt use so much power for sensors, bulbs, and general power consumption. The monte well, it eats a lot more of it up. the GA didnt use as much, so it has more power for the sub to take.
