my sub thinks it own the whole trunk
ok so me and my cousin have sub boxes that slide around the trunk. just wondering if theres a solution without screwing the box threw the floor.
heres my idea tell me if im dumb.
so i bought 8 pieces of heavy duty velcro 2''x3'' im going to only use the hook part and throw away the fluffy part. im going to glue to hook parts together like double sided tape. and put four of them under the box.
they grab auto carpet like nobodys business, but im not sure if the glue will hold up to the cold/hot weather.

I have an actual jack in my trunk, just in case, because I hate the one that comes with the car. I threw some Velcro on that thing, doesn't move at all. I think you'd be safe going this route.

them boxs are pretty heavy and once they start sliding there sliding, i had the same problem b4 i did my fiberglass enclosure in my trunk. im thinking the velcro is not going to be strong enough just with 4 pieces, maybe if you put velcro on the whole bottom it would hold. just my opinion not sure thou never did it. good luck!

when i get one that sounds like a great idea chibi. im sure the box is over 120 lbs. , it has the wall attached to it. im thinking the velcro i got will hold, its heavy duty, but should i put shims inbetween the "double sided velcro", so the glue has something better to stick to.
and ted true that siscor jacks suck i would throw my jackcase in there but am scarred ill tear up my highend sub.

put a couple of hooks into the top & sides of the box, then use a bungee cord or some kind of rope ( nothing TOO obvious) to secure it to the structure under the package tray... and MAKE SURE its somewhere sturdy!
i did my own redneck virsion of that with my box of cleaning supplies, spare misc parts, oil, antifreze, washer fluid, just loose junk that would normally be rolling around the trunk... so i got a big rectangular cardbord box, sprayed it black to kinda blend in, and then used black bungie cords to secure it up behind the rear seat... it has not moved around scince
