I also removed the GM badge as I felt it was too "Busy" up there.

I agree about the GM badges, I hate that they put those on everything now.

 

Great addition. I like the red on black. Do you plan to change the wheels? I ordered mine today really not a fan of the SS wheels.

 

Again, I hate to say this, but itseems like you're trying to make the car look like an older year monte.

 

well so what if he is? Isn't everyone trying to make their car look different if they are doing something to em? Besides, the old montes were the real muscle cars anyway.

I have always loved the red on black theme. Even my supercharged cobalt has the gold bowtie at the back, I am going to remove it and put a red one there as well.

Every "Personal touch" add-on will not appeal to everyone. The only person that has to like it is the owner. That's why we call it a "Personal Touch". I like the red bowtie emblems, but having just traded in my 04 SS which had all kinds of them on it, I was ready for the change to the 07 look.

More power to personalization........go for it.

 

Hey rcohen the red bowties were never on the real muscle car montes of the 80s. Maybe when the new ones emerged in 2000 and up but I wouldn't call them muscle cars and I had one. It is a personal touch and that's fine, I just wouldn't want to make my brand new 06 or 07 Monte look like a later model but that's just me.
