Well, I did something similar to this on my old 97 Z34 when I had it. Anyways, Enjoy!
I also removed the GM badge as I felt it was too "Busy" up there.

Every "Personal touch" add-on will not appeal to everyone. The only person that has to like it is the owner. That's why we call it a "Personal Touch". I like the red bowtie emblems, but having just traded in my 04 SS which had all kinds of them on it, I was ready for the change to the 07 look.

Hey rcohen the red bowties were never on the real muscle car montes of the 80s. Maybe when the new ones emerged in 2000 and up but I wouldn't call them muscle cars and I had one. It is a personal touch and that's fine, I just wouldn't want to make my brand new 06 or 07 Monte look like a later model but that's just me.
