just got a metering rod cover i was missing for my edlebrock for free while at back to the 50's at the fair ground so i stopped and asked the edlebrock vender if they sold them he dug throught his tool box and just gave me one

For the time beign i will be running the stock Th200 3speed auto, with do time i'll be getting a th350

Do a little research.

I found a local guy parting a '79 Camaro. I got everything under the hood for $300.

Complete 350 engine. (alt, starter, dist, carb, water pump all included)
350 TH trans.
set of headers.
engine compartment wiring harness.
trans cooler.
even the drive shaft.

I decided the '57 needed to have a clutch. So the Muncie 4-speed is staying in.

got my adapter plate to run my edlebrock this evening i am officially one step closer

i got bored today so decided to polish my Dist base,
left is vac advance dist base one goin on the car, right is the original computer controled base the original one...
just figured i'd do a comparison shot as they where both about the same when i started
