That is kind of a hard one, i have gone back and forth with soo many colors... the plan is black interior i know that much but i still can't pick an outside color

i wanted to do a

blue like so

or a red like so

and the plan is to do like a ghost skunk stipe where it will just be a slight variation on the color it is so you may not see it right away but it may catch your eye then you have to look for it

Justin I just read your thread for the first time. Thanks. It gives me a good idea of what I've got to do on my 81. I look forward to your updates. Gregg

So this is the car your talking about getting rid of ? Justin I think you need to step back & take a look at your options. I think your over looking something. It can be that bad. Step back for a few days and give it a break. I agree with getting a bettter job and all. But if you sell the car the way it is. Your not going to get much for all the LABOR and parts you got into it. I think if you step back for a while and see what happens. Then start with a fresh look at it. Man its paid for and its not costing you a thing right now, Till you get back on your feet. Hope to see you at car craft. Where maybe we can talk in person about this. Rick

Frame has been sandblasted, painted, new floor pans, all rust has been fixed, 8 point cage, rust free trunk lid, rust free core support, rust free fenders,

once I get the 85 cleared out we will be moving the 84 over, putting it on jack stands and pulling his suspention out becuase he's got a stupid amount of money into just that, full hotchkiss setup and curry 9in, then i'll be spending time cleaning up and painting my stock suspention and putting that in to get it on the all 4 come march when we plan to move I want to bring the car with to our new place.. a lot easier to work on it when it's 100ft away vs 7-10 miles

Major props for the work you have done in a drafty garage and on the ground. The G-bodies can be tough and tight, especially when on your back

i was mislead! i thought there was just surface rust, never really dug at it.. well it's more than surface so i don't feel so bad for chopping it up
yes my arm is throught the passenger side floor board at the teim..

back window fought me along the botom... apparently the to was no preped correclty went i started to pusho on it it would move a good, 1/4-1/2 in easy,

but save the rear window to use in the 84 since it has mcf sticker on it, no defrost! and the 84's is all pitted
