Your blue one is one piece solid. The red bow-ties are just an outline only. If your car was white with the red bow tie, then the bow-tie would be white in the center, or what ever the body color was, like Amy's:

There has to bve more to it then a guy's car got damaged one day, he decided not to report the accident and bought another damaged car and made one from two.

For one thing............... the windshield needs removed to change the VIN tag. And if the DMV even thinks the VIN has been tampered with the cops will seize the car.

It looks more like a body shop bought two heavily damaged Montes. One in the front, one in the rear. They saw a chance to make a quick buck so they made one car from the two damaged cars. (which there are shops out there that do this very thing)

You could also get a blue bow tie on the trunk lid of some of the '06 Montes. We rented one to make the trip from Dayton, OH to Nashville, TN in 2006 to attend the Monte Carlo Nationals held there that year.

The OnStar antenna on your car is definately the '06/07 version. The '00-05 antenna is different. OnStar went from analog to digital in 2006.

And as long as you are happy with the car, that IS All that matters.

Everything that said you said is correct. About the vin # and etc...

But can I sue the guy for doing that? He didnt even tell me that he did a engine swap on it, or something to it, in generally.

They changed the OnStar XM antenna for the 05 models - and I think it is digital. Check out my antenna, it is the shark fin kind.

Is this a top swap on the original L36, or did he drop in a full L67?
