I believe this car was badly hit up oneday like in an accident that wasnt reported to the insurance. So the guy got a newer body Monte and stripped it on to the 2000 Monte.

Thats where the '05 Trunks comes w/blue badge and side skirts and even XM/Onstar antenna. At least this is what I think happened.

What ever the Mystery is, I can care less. All I know I have a "2000" Monte SS (Supercharged)

So yea, thats what I think.

I just bought the car 2-3 weeks ago, and i'll I know about the car that it runs very good, its clean, not damaged, and its (SUPERCHARGED)

Well you're happy. That's all that matters.

I'm glad that it is working good for you. I would seriously drop the cash though and get a carfax report just to be safe or try to contact the owner to find out what exactly happened.

Make it clear you want to keep the car but let them know you want to be prepared for any problems in the future.

Yea, im happy but there is some tiny problems.

For example the blue emblem, I hate that color. I want to get a red one the same thing as the picture when you enter the monte carlo forum.

I agree 100%.

It's a great car. If the previous owner did all that work before you bought it, then you lucked out and got one heck of a great car! Congrats!

i think the red bowtie is actually just a sticker, you would need to take the blue bowtie off and im sure you can buy the red one somewhere

http://www.grafxwerks.com/products/shop.php?part=MCSS2 that place sells overlays for the bowtie you have, you can get it any color you want

and sorry for coming off like a jerk in my last post, like taz said, your happy with it and thats what matters

The red bowtie on the back isn't a sticker it is a plastic raised emblem which you can probably find on ebay with no problem.
