In my 2004 Monte, when you locked the car with the remote, and set the alarm, there was a small red light that flashed in the dash. I think it was in the radio. I haven't seen it in the 07. Does anyone know if this feature was dropped on the 06/07 models????

 

its in the dash
it will be yellow instead of red
in the rigth below the fuel gauge

It does not blink on 06 07 Montes though. Once you arm the alarm the light goes out. It does not stay on or blink.
