Default must. do. more. mods!

ok i want to do some more stuff! for starters, i'm searching around at posts about home made FWI's, and i want some black rims. since i can't afford new wheels at the moment, how would it look if i got my stockers just painted black?? also pondering about painting the lower grill on my bumper black as well.

A fender well intake is rather simple all you need is a filter and some piping. There has been just a lot of posts about homemade intakes lately so that shouldnt be too hard.
Painting your rims shouldnt be too hard either just remember it's all in the prep work. A Few people have used Plasti Dip on there rims so you may want to look into that.Monte Carlo Forum - Monte Carlo Enthusiast Forums - Search Results

Please don't paint your rims black. It's such a terrible look, and a terrible phase. I don't know why everyone wants it to look like they are running around on steelies.

FWI is very easy, just please make sure you don't use PVC pipe and get real ABS plastic.

Lower grille black would look nice. SLP has the upper and lower grille things and they look sharp on a red car.

The SLP lower grill insert may be the more economical route for making the lower grill black. Unless you plan on painting it yourself. But personally I'd go with the FWI first. Kinda hard for others to see your lower grill when they're behind you anyway. lol

I had the black wheel bug...Painted my wheels black with plasti dip...............Then immediately hated it and peeled it off.

By a can, and do one side, and see how you like it..Im pretty sure you won't. It looks good in your head but when you do it it looks like ****. Plus plasti dip is 5 dollars a can and peels right off so your really not losing anything.

I'm not really much for painting the stock rims all black. It tends to look like you're driving with steelies (mostly used for snow tires or taxi cabs).
