question about the lower slp grill insert.... how is it different than the lower grill on my car? when I first got my car and started researching, i pulled up the pictures and I can't see a difference. It looks like it goes right over top of the cross pieces that's already there. If anyone has an up close before/after, i'd love to see it.

I want the tony stewart (SLP similar?) upper grille someday.

 

Ok #1 it is just a over lay #2 it is super easy to paint because it is off the car you dont have to worry about over spray on the car #3 by it being a over lay it actuly makes the lower grill look thicker and in my opinion meaner # 4 it is really hard to get a clean line between the black of the lower grill and the body color and have even strait lines #5 when you do paint over the factory pain you should clear over it and to make sure that you have 2 different shades of clear you would need to feather it on the nose so it all fades in to looking the same . I hope this helps and I will look back when I did mine and see if I can find the link to it
