Just a small reminder, wider might not help too much, it depends on the tire. A friend of mine has stock sized slicks on stock gp rims, and makes 400+ in his turbo gp and hooks fine. Then again, it depends on the car because my other friend has 10inch wide slicks on his supercharged nitrous gtp, and can't hook at all. I think if you get some good dr's on stock rims for now you should be ok.

 

That's a good point. I looked into getting some Nitto's awhile back but a lot of people said that they can't hook with them and they were putting down a lot less whp then I was. It will be a little bit though before I make a decision because I'm going to finish up the bodywork and then move to the tranny. After that I'll check out the wheel's and tires and a little more suspension work.
