So when will your new tires arrive? I mean, this mod isn't worth it if you don't melt the rubber off a set

Oh man, do I wish I could get a good set of tires right now, lol. For the time being, I'm going to have to either replace my bald tires or just not drive it until I get some slicks and skinnies.

zzapultimate, I'm totally digging what you've been doing with your Monte. Hopefully there's an engine swap or turbo or both in your future

And yes, I'm ready for my Monte to be fast someday

 

How big of slicks do you plan on running? If you want to go bigger in front, get the front tires widened an inch or 2, that would be pretty sweet!

I'm still looking into that. At the widest, I'm considering 10", but that might be tricky with these cars. I have to get wider tires though because these factory sized tires are just crying at WOT.

I've been to Bay City before. My sister goes to SVSU which isn't too far from there either. It seems that most of the Monte members from MI are on the east side of the state. We'll have to get a meet going someday.
