Back in the 1990's, I used to own a 1982 Monte Carlo. It had a 4.4 267 V8. I bought it with a 124,000 miles on it at 10 years old. I drove it to about 255,00 miles at 7 years later. Original engine, transmission, and most other parts. It was such a great car. I would be happy to get my hands back on it. I wish it had a more powerful engine at the time ( i was in high school ), but it was still a good powerful engine and probably helped me gas wise! I swapped the front plastic center grill for the 83 to 86 style which made it look cooler than the 80-82 style (plus it was cheaper $36 verse $124). Those 80's MC's were great!
