Mike, I'm even more ready for our race now :P, the new tuned PCM only brought out the beast in my 3.5L...whats that 107 in second gear, yep, thats right! :P hahaha...

Holy Wow! 107 in second? My Monte only goes to about 93 in second. How high does your 3500 rev up to?

And very cool btw that you guys saw a forum member on the road. I haven't seen one in a LONG time. I guess it's time I go to a meet.

 

We need more than a track. I want to do multiple runs against Mike. I think both of our Monte's have different high spots. In some cases he would probably take me, and in other cases I think I would probably take him. We've both compaired video's and both seem to be pretty close. I think our engines are putting out very close numbers, but our different gear ratios make for different high and low spots I think. It would be a blast testing all the different scenarios with Mike. Someday....

 

Yes that is right. My Monte does 60 MPH in 1st gear, and then second takes me to 107. Stock the 3.5L shifts at 6,300 RPM in first, and at 5,800 RPM in 2nd....with my new tune both 1st and 2nd gear shift at 6,300 RPM. You should check out my thread about the new PCM/ Video....I have a posted video of a 42-107 run....Which is another awesome thing about my new tune. I can get a 1st gear down shift going upto 44 MPH.
