It was the neutral safety switch? Meaning, your car starts fine if it's in neutral?

I ask because I bought an 05 LT last week and had trouble starting it since i test drove it. The dealership told me that they needed to replace the battery, and they did. The car would start just fine if I Revd it a few times. But I never tried starting it in neutral. Currently, the car is being service by the dealership. I wonder what they'll come up with.

well technically mine only worked for a few days after that. I recently just found out that my car will start (100% so far) when i tilt the steering wheel all the way down, once it starts i can lift it back to where i need it.... i just ordered a rebuilt column to hopefully alleviate the problem.
