So I found this original Monte Carlo Brochure from 1970 I had a 70 Monte once, then sold it and went to a Z/28.
So I kept this from all these years. I am thinking someone asked about the features of the 70 MC SS recently this has that info. Back then you had the option of the Manual Transmission in a 3-speed or a 4 speed or the traditional GIRLS car option of an Automatic.
You may notice on the interior shots that the option of an 8 Track player came with this car as a factory option. (We need to go back to those .

Thats a beautiful exterior, I love the lines on it. Can't stand the green/fake wood interior color but I could really get into it with black.
Always wanted to drive a factory powerglide car. I grew up with 4 speed autos being the norm. Been in a couple modern glide swapped cars, but they were both 1000+ to the tire. I'm curious about the drivability of one in a very low power / stock build configuration like this.
