Monte Carlo on msn.com
What do you all this of this. The 2000 Monte Carlo making the list as one of the top 100 ugliest cars.
100 Ugliest Cars of All Time
100 Ugliest Cars of All Time
When I got my first monte I was looking for a civic or any kind of import because they last forever and hold their value but my friend told me to get a monte as he has a Dale Jr. Im not a NASCAR fan my any means I dont think I have ever seen an entire race. But I love the stock car look
LOL the little ball bat smiley is funny. And they used a car the same color as yours!! I would be looking for a smiley with a bigger bat!!!! LOL
HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA a 6th gen up there and no 5th gen in sight, who would've guessed!
They did also have several nice classic cars on that list, so don't put too much stock into that "article".

i read a lot of stuff on msn everyday at work, and let me tell you, a lot of the stuff is just journalists justifying their existence. lol. theres nothing scientific about a lot of the stuff that gets put on there, (there is some), but its 1 persons opinion, that at the end of the day, means nothing. although i wouldnt mind coming face to face with this author in person haha
just remember what Denzel said in training day about the newspaper. Its 90percent bull****.....but its entertaining. thats all those articles are good for

LoL `Tweek,
I'm surprised that more member's have not posted.
Before I retreat from the MCF, I felt obligated to comment & post on who wrote the article & choose the ugly *(2 him) vehicles..
"Auto Beauty is in the Minds of the key holders" I personally like many on his list,, especially the Chevrolet Monte Carlo..

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster: Seat Comfort Over 3,000 Miles

A few weeks ago my good friend John Pearley Huffman and I drove our long-term 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster from our Santa Monica, California office to South Dakota and back. And I'm very happy to report that our buttocks lived to tell the tale. We had to stop about every hour so John could get more food & goodies.
Then seats in the SLS are nothing short of remarkable. Very comfortable. Very supportive, but John's broke. The supercar should manage nearly 400 miles per tank of fuel, but we only got about half of that.
On the fourth day of the trip we decided to push. We logged 985 miles and 40 drive in restaurants & still arrived in Las Vegas feeling bigger. Impressive considering the SLS isn't exactly the roomiest car out there.
If you missed it, you can read about the entire road trip here and check out at huge photo gallery of our adventure here.
John posted the menu's from all the restaurants & pictures of the restrooms. Search the web for more articles.

I was taught to not throw stones at others, but this is an exception to that rule...LOL... Some people strike out in many different forms & this guy sure doesn't seem to know what he talking about & maybe just trying to justify he poor existence.
He must have been out of candy/cookies etc when he composed this list

It's sad that Edmunds paid him for his article & MSN reposted it...But, everyone fills in there own space. I don't like there Space's 4>Sure...I suggest that this writer should switch to rating foods (something I think he would enjoy more) & stop writing or rating vehicles. LOL
OK, lets get back to having fun (LOL)

I took a peak at this. I feel it needs an author follow up on the "best looking cars" to know what this critic considers worth looking at.
Just glancing through a few cars, the author spans multiple different eras of cars, as mentioned in this thread the author calls out some rather recognized classic cars. Heck some of what the author faults on a few cars are either one appearance item that wasn't per-say a "win" but wasn't a "fail" either. In some cases the author makes a comparison about the car and what they believe the manufacturer was attempting to do and says "butchery", but lacks a reason to explain their statement. Perhaps the author is not a car guy at all, just another guy with a blog to share.
As for the statement about the 6th Gen Monte, I'm certain most, if not all of us would disagree with this review. Personally, I look at the 6th gen Monte as GM attempting to bring back some of the heritage of the car, a bit of a retro spin. If I look at my '04 SS to say a 4th gen SS, I see some of the progression (general shape of the tail lights, headlights, body lines and the swoopie like stampings on the metal on the fenders and quarters, the vertical spoiler and a host of other features).
