Default Monte Carlo Door

I just purchased a 1983 monte that needs a drivers door. What year models are the same?

is an ss or ls?

ls = 81-88 from other ls cars without the composit headlights
ss = 81-88 from any ss or ls car without composit headlights but you will have to remove the crome from the lower edge of the door, and remove the studs that hols it on

It's just a basic monte. Not sure what you mean when you say composite lights. It does have the chrome on the bottom of the door.
