I would never put the top up so I'd never see it. My buddy has an 80 something Trans Am Convertible that has not had the top up in about 10 years

I'd drive one. I would not replace the BudChev with one, but it looks okay. I don't think it's my favorite convertible. I'd have to get used to the way it looks. Would be nicer with a hardtop

 

I've never really been a convertible person, would rather roll a coupe. Took this picture of a first generation convertible at the '99 Monte Carlo convention. Custom, obviously, but kind of cool and done very well. Looks like it could have been factory.

Back in my hometown I saw somebody do the same to a 7th gen. soon after I purchased mine. It actually didn't look too bad, but I've never really been a fan of drop top sports cars. It sure would be nice to cruise around on Woodward in the summer though =P
