hey im still pretty new when it comes to modding my z34 but i was wondering if there are any parts that would be compatible with my car from like camaros or anything else. thanks

 

not a whole lot, i assume you have the 3.4 DOHC? theres not going to be a whole lot of mods, just cat back exhaust, ported heads exhaust manifolds, and custom intake and thatll be about it

 

what about exterior mods like wheels or anything else? ive seen a few 96 and 97s with mustang wheels. the reason im asking is because right now i dont have the funds to custom make alot of parts so im just needing some parts to tide myself over.

 

Sadly, the only other car that is on the exact same platform of the 95-99 Monte's are the 95-01 Lumina's. We have the 1.5 gen w-body. Older Lumina's and Grand Prix's were 1st gens, the Newer Grand Prix's and Impala's were 2nd gens. Pretty much the only thing that is a direct bolt on are Mustang rims and those are heavy and will make your car slower. I recommend that if you don't have much money, do some interior modifications or some painting. It's better then nothing.

 

you can do the rims, which will be heavy, but will look nice, you can also do top swaps to and l67. There are body kits and different spoilers that you can do. Also, you can tint your tail lights, tint the windows, racing stripes, different stuff like that

 

really? i found a set of bullit wheels that the guy told me i could trade my amp and sub for them. would they be heavier? os should i keep them and just repaint my wheels? ive seen a mc with the same wheels but they were painted glossy black and they looked great.

 

I agree that the Mustang wheels look great on our cars, but they are a bit heavier then the stock Monte wheels, especially your aluminum 5 spokes that the early Z34's came with. This could cause extra strain on the drivetrain. It's up to you there. They will be lighter then your amp and sub I'm sure, but you'll still have the drivetrain strain.
