Default Mirrors

I'm looking to mess around with rearview mirrors, does anyone have a pic of the normal LS wiring harness and plug that plugs into the back of the mirror?

I'm wondering if it's the same as this one here:

That could be. My car didn't come with the overhead console. I added it from an SS. The mirror harness is connected to the same harness as the console. But, I didn't swap my mirror, and the "new" plug went right in to the mirror like the old one did.

Crap, I may have to go back and get a harness... I didn't have my knife with me :/ but I feel like my harness may have been a tad bit different

I still have the one from my original headliner. You can have it if you want it. Let me know. I can cut it off and send it to you.

I believe the mirror harness differs mainly if you have OnStar. Since one harness has two rows of pins and the other has 1 row, it might be worth seeing if one of the rows of the 2 row has the same pin outs as the single row connector and if a single row connector might just "slide on". Just a thought....

That's a good thought. The SS that I got my overhead console from didn't have Onstar, but it did have the auto dimming mirror. Onstar may be the difference.

I was going to try this, I don't want to add onstar :p

I just wanted autodimming, I couldn't find anything at the yard today with temp and compass because there weren't many cadillacs or regals there, but I'll have to grab one if I find another.

I'll update with what I find on Friday.

mairj, does that connector only have 7 pins?
