I just bought my 1998 monte carlo with 114k on it... everything works perfect and have had the oil changed and new tires sparks plugs batties good and everything else.. Just wondering was this a good buy or not.. The car runs wonderful like brand new and how long should it last me.

 

should last another 100,000 miles if you treat it right. should have been a good deal... i'm not sure what the 90's monte's go for.. if you paid less than like $5k i'd say its a good dea.

 

oh thats good what dp I do after 100,000 miles? but i got it under 5k great deal the inside is soooo nice. love the car, and I take great care of my cars..

 

I just asked a woman yesterday if she wanted to sell her 1990s Monte? She said it was a '99 and has over 200,000 miles on the car.

It sure didn't look like a 200k mile car.

 

I would go for it just check under the hood to make sure you're getting your moneys worth.. As long as the car's inside and out looks nice you should get it.. If the car has been takin care of it should last you atleast 100,000 more miles.. how much would she sell it for.

 

She said she bought the car new. That it has always been a good car for her. And wouldn't sell it for anything.

 

ha! she must have been an older laidy, sounds like one anyways... They're good cars.. I wouldnt sell mine, Mine was only a 1 owner until I got it, I plan on keeping atleast until 250k atleast. She's a smart lady.

 

is it a z34 or ls?if z34 with a 3800 if treated right you could get 300,000 miles on it!seen it before those motors are bullet proof

 

it's a 3100 should it last that long, the ls modle.. I love this car I'm already tintin the windows and order the black tail light tint to do those, what a ride.
