I can HONESTLY say. I never had an uncool car or truck. I've had a 57 ford convert. 64 Ford Gal 500 390 with all white interior. A 1968 Ford Torino 289. Then a 68 Ford fairlane 428 4 spd. A 1974 Dodge Charger ( family car) 318. Also a 76 Monte carlo. And at a last min deal. A 77 monte carlo. Then a 1977 Dodge Van. Thats when the Kustom Van thing was going on. Then a 1980 Dodge van also Kustom. Then a chevy Pick up 350 with all the toy's. A 1995 & 96 Chevy suburban;s. Least trucks from Gen Motor's Employee thing. Then it was also a Ford super coupe T bird. 8 Harley's between my wife & I. Then a Ford Dually 4 door 8 ft box pick up Diesel. Then a Ford F 150 4 door. Then after selling the last Harley after our move to Minn. The Muscle car thing hit me. Thats when the Chevelle came into our lifes. Then her Royal Blue Cobalt. And now my Victory red M/C. Hell Now I'm getting excited. What"s next ? Camaro or Challenger ?????? . Or maybe another Harley. I guess time will tell.

My first car was a 1978 4 door Ford Mercury Monarch (Uncool), Then I had a 1980 Ford Thunderbird (Uncool), Then a 1981 Dodge 024 (Uncool but that little booger would run) then a 1988 Dodge Shadow (Uncool but it would get on down the road), Then a 1990 Firebird (Cool), then a 2000 Sunfire (Uncool, cheap and affordable car), then a 2001 Ford ZX2 (a Total peice of Crap), then I bought my 1978 Monte Carlo because I wanted something to be a Project car (Cool), and I also have a Go getter car which is our 1992 Chevy Caviler (Uncool but it runs great and it go's and gets it).

Augi - Don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm curious how your car got totaled by a truck backing over it??
Now a vega w/a V8 is nice..

My own family's history going way back in order of their appearances. Feel free to conclude whether cool or uncool.

Primary family car: 1955 Chev BelAir sedan, to 1961 Chev BelAir wagon, to 1967 Chev BelAir wagon, to 1976 Pontiac Grand Lemans wagon, to 1984 Chev Caprice Estate wagon, to 1991 Honda Accord EX wagon, to 2001 Toyota Camry LE sedan.

"Second" car in the family (i.e. Dad's to-the-office car): 1978 Datsun B210 sedan, to 1974 VW Beetle, to 1989 Honda Civic DX sedan, to 2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner 2WD 4-cylinder pickup.

Oldest brother's car: Aforementioned '78 B210 sedan once Dad got the Beetle, to 1989 Honda Accord LXi sedan, to 1999 Chev Suburban LT 4WD once he got his own family.

Middle brother's car: 1977 VW Rabbit 2-door, to 1990 Honda Civic Si, to aforementioned '91 Accord EX wagon (hand-me-down), to 1997 Honda Civic EX coupe.

My machines: 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II sedan, to 1984 Plymouth Reliant 2-door, to 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria sedan, to 1991 Honda Civic wagon, to 1990 Ford Thunderbird base, to 1997 Honda Civic EX sedan....to the '07 Monte LT of today!

And I'm considered the go-to car guy in the family, even with some of my absurd choices!! Ack!!!
