I bought the 100,000mi, zero deductible bumper to bumper GMPP warranty last fall. I've used it a couple of times, the most major being my broken flex-plate. I paid $1,800!

It is worth checking because dealer warranties are only honored by the dealer's location.

A GM warranty is honored by every single dealer in the country.

A GM warranty comes with free towing and roadside service anywhere in the U.S.

A GM warranty is bumper to bumper.

Dealer only warranties are only drivetrain.

They claim the extended is good at any GM dealer. And like I posted they sayit's almost as good as a factory warranty.

 

Bought mine used at a Toyota dealership where i work and added an ext. warranty bumper to bumper, nationwide towing, all the jazz for 1100 but that was at dealer cost because im an employee and it covers the car for up to 150k i have 61k on it now! the major worry has already been replaced with the tranny only 2k ago by a gm dealer here in town.. made sure it was a new unit though we have a few techs that checked it out that used to work for gm
