Yeah chats can be fun, I am just afraid that with my schedule that I would not be able to chat too much. but I voted yes. I dont know why someone would vote no. I do know over on the shotgun site I am a Moderator on that we had this issue come up a few years ago. and we have a lot of members (over 30,000 members of the site) Some thought it would take away from the forums, that some might just chat, and stop posting. but that never happened. but for some reason the chat never really took off. we had it avail for over three years and the most people that would use it was like ten members at the most at anytime. sometimes theere would only be one person in the chat room.
Main thing is people would have to be active in the chat room to make it work well. over on that other site we tried a set day and time for a chat. that worked kind of OK, but a lot of people would forget even though reminders were posted.

On my 4.0 Mustang forum there is a chat room but no one uses it. Instead there is something called a shout box on the main page and people chat through there.

I am the lone ranger that voted NO on the chat room.. Just my personal opinion, I've never liked the chat room environment simply cause I barely have enough time to just pop in to check out all the new post, poop my occasional droppings and make my exit.
