thats a good idea...hand him the estimate for the 1200 bucks to fix it then buy the 700 hood with the ram air on it...would look awesome on your monte

 

the fact that he didn't beat the dude down on the spot indicates that this must be somewhat of a good friend, so I'd imagine conning the guy into paying nearly double the cost of the repair/replacement isn't an option.

I would just go with an aftermarket hood with a ram air scoop to accent the racing stripe

I want one so i can put the hood scoop i want on one with out having to give up the one i have on the car

 

definetly ram air though...even if you can get him to give you money towards it to pay for half of it at least...its the least he could do after doing that to your car...

but that ram air hood would look sick on your car

but I was thinking and I can't get a ram hood because the stripe wouldn't go on right. For those of you who don't know the racing stripe on my car is vinyl, not paint. It wouldn't look right at all over a hood scoop because it would be all cut up. If I got it painted on it wouldn't look the same as the rest of the car. So that kinda destroys that idea.

Im taking it to the dent repair place on thurs i think.

haha ur gonna love this, the guy was at a golf tournament today so he couldn't do it. Im busy tomrrow and can't do it, then monday I leave for 2weeks, so go figure its gonna be forever till it gets fixed.
