Does anyone know if the LS4 will mount to your 2001 Monte Carlo 3.4 or 3. 8 subframe

 

Pretty certain, no. Theres a few people who have done the LS4 swap and theres a little info around here.

 

Actually, I am pretty sure the subframe works. To my knowledge, the LS4 powered 2006-2007 Monte Carlo is using the same chassis as the 2000-2005, so they should interchange. Brandon Furches (aka LS4King) is probably the best guy to confirm 100%.
