Default Lower Intake Manifold Project Blog: RickCoMatic

Coolant loss continues despite recent upper hose clamp replacement by Dealer.
Early detection of Lower Intake Manifold leak suspected.
Stock L-I-M removal and replacement begins.
Ordering needed replacement parts.

Am I missing anything?
If the Manifold is coming off and the Push-rods removed, ... should the Lifters get replaced or not?
Is there anything I should ask to have done to insure this repair job will not need to be repeated?
Comments on the 180 Stat appreciated.

Confirmed Part Numbers.

I went to AutoZone to confirm the Part Numbers and prices that I looked-up on the web.
Everything matched.
The Car is parked. I'm NOT going to risk any damage.
On Monday the Monte gets towed to a Reputable Shop that has discussed the problem and will submit the claim under the Extended Warranty Program.

I'll know the score, Monday.
I can't do it without some help. My back is always in pain.
If the job can get done under the Warranty, ... I inquire about them letting me Video and get pictures.
