I don't want to sound stupid, but what are "etched windows for insurance purposes"?? it is a sweet monte by the way!!

 

i didnt know the monte had that option. i test drove a rustang that had those. in the black border in all the glass they etch the vin number. so if someone were to steal it they would have to replace all the glass.
